especially given my aim to balance comfort with value. While not the plushest hotel I've encountered, it offers a solid experience without breaking the bank. The room was clean and cozy, albeit compact—think Vincent van Gogh’s bedroom in a more modern guise. It came complete with a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and a well-maintained shower. The bar and restaurant downstairs, though, provided a comforting contrast with their inviting atmosphere. Ronan, the proprietor, stood out as an excellent host. His genuine warmth complemented the bustling café vibe, where locals mingled over coffee. I particularly appreciated the variety of breakfasts available; a good full English certainly kept me going for the day. The Harnser strikes a commendable balance between providing a unique experience and maintaining affordability. If you’re looking for charm alongside value, this place is definitely worth considering, especially with such amiable staff.
